Company HistorySFG's fulfillment roots go back to the early 1980s when the initial integrated relational database system was created in-house in answer to the growing fulfillment needs of consumer publishing and direct mail company Annie's Attic. Using a collaborative approach with direct marketers, our information system programmers developed the foundation of what they found lacking in the fulfillment industry while looking ahead at the brand extension and channel expansion opportunities of marketing. In 1997, SFG was officially formed with the merger of the fulfillment operations of Annie's Attic and sister company The Needlecraft Shop. Both companies were founded in Texas and purchased by the Muselman family of Berne, Indiana, in 1996 and 1994 respectively. SFG is a division of DRG, a third-generation Muselman family business based in Berne, Ind., near Fort Wayne. Another division of DRG, Annie's, a publishing/media company, serves the craft, home decor and nostalgia markets with magazines, catalogs and other products. The Muselman business began in 1925 with the founding of Economy Printing Concern in Berne. EP Graphics, as it is known today, is still owned by the Muselman family. It specializes in high-quality, four-color web printing for catalogs and magazines. |
